To improve the poor coductivity of standard magnesium- and tin-alloyed copper conductors, we developed our own magnesium-copper and tin-copper alloys.
The material composition together with our sophisticated production processes and technologies leads to a significant higher conductivity of both contact wires and stranded conductors. This leads to lower energy losses which is crucial for a green future. First national railway operators and urban railway operators have already changed their product portfolio to products made of our VALCOND alloy.
